About Restaurant Fourteen Seventy-Two
With their motto of bringing “low country to the mile high,” the mission of Restaurant Fourteen Seventy-Two is pretty clear. Transporting the cuisine of South Carolina and southern Georgia to the center of Denver, the restaurant sits in a cozy retrofitted house on 1472 South Pearl, where it takes its name. Blending classics like fried chicken and she crab soup with western-inspired fare, such as the smoked pork-based Roll of Monte Cristo, they work to please any palate.
With three sunny patios, it’s also become a popular brunch spot with a bevy of bottomless cocktails and their signature Benedicts. The Grit Cake stars tiger shrimp in a bright Creole pepper sauce, while the Gator is a johnny-cake-inspired take, crowned with green tomatoes and alligator sausage.
