Then the clinician attaches a grounding pad to the shoulder or thigh, links it to the Exilis Elite device, and infuses the skin with radio-frequency energy, producing results over 3 treatments as opposed to the 4-6 for previous Exilis devices. A sensation of warmth means that the treatment is working—tightening tissues while minimizing the appearance of wrinkles and laxity. The treatment takes about eight minutes per area, yielding immediately smoother skin that tightens over the course of about 90 days. Results can vary, and 3 treatments 3-4 weeks apart are recommended for the best results.
