When you did fitness alone, you couldn’t figure out the machines, did a wimpy walk on the treadmill, went home, and ate Funyons. Today’s Groupon brings back the buddy system with five group classes for $30 at Revolution, a $62 value.
At Revolution, you can customize your workout according to skill level, discipline, and energy level. Stretch, build strength and flexibility, and mellow out at a yoga class designed for all experience levels. Those craving a sassier sweat session can try Zumba, a Latin-infused, fast-paced fitness craze. There’s also Pilates, drumming circle, boot camp, hip-hop, and power vinyasa. Classes are offered daily as early as 6 a.m. and as late as 8 p.m.
Being self-motivated is hard work. The tasks you routinely complete are usually executed in response to gentle encouragement from the powers above (the IRS, the police, your boss, your landlord). Applying that approach to the area of exercise (with the guidance of an expert instructor and the pressures from your toned peers) will increase your productivity and get you serious results in no time.

Citysearchers and Insider Pagers give Revolution five stars. Many praise the excellent salon services the studio also offers, but one review raves about the new exercise studio:
- I'm in their morning fitness bootcamp and have taken several dance/cardio classes. The instructors are inspriring [sic] and fun. – amw95, Citysearch
Exercise Revolutions
Revolution can offer you a personal fitness revolution, but it will hardly be the first fitness revolution in history. Here are some important moments in the history of exercise:
3,000 BC: Exercise is invented by cavemen who had previously run away from bears, fires, and bears on fire, but never before from fiery bears cursed with human faces.
30: A revolution seems to be happening in Galilee, led by a charismatic, long-haired, sandaled fellow who doesn't always do what people tell him to. His name is Keith, and he invented swimming. It's great exercise.
1975: The Nordic Track is invented. Every 100th unit causes its owner to painfully age backward during use.
2015: Exercise in a pill makes working out obsolete.
2016: Exercise in a pill revealed to be cause of population-destroying superplague.

About Revolution
The purple-railed porch running along Revolution Hair & Body Salon’s storefront is as rustic and relaxed as the ambiance inside. There, a crowd of smiles and a stash of eco-friendly products encourage complete renewal and transformation of clients’ hair, skin, and overall self-image. To stay ahead of the latest techniques, the laid-back stylists continually attend classes, filling their menu with such fetching services as highlights or GuyLites and natural-looking or bold color. They also extend their beautifying attention downward from the scalp with detoxifying facials, tanning and waxing sessions, and soothing infrared-sauna visits that help enhance circulation and thaw the frozen cavemen you found in your backyard.
