  • For $39, you get $200 worth of custom-framing services.<p>

Brooklyn artist Jodi Reznik and her husband Jeff apply finely tuned eyes as they immortalize customers’ photos, artwork, and memorabilia within carefully selected frames. Hundreds of hues of wood, metal, or painted art frames pair up with four grades of glass, each more transparently pristine than the last, to shield precious hangings from the elements. Roughly 300 colors and textures of museum-quality mat boards perfectly match the disconcertingly glowing eyes of werewolf portraits. A simple suite of glass, matting, backing, and hanging hardware can envelop a favorite 8”x10” image in a classy shell (up to $100), and elaborate custom designs can incorporate invisible glass and leather or suede mats (up to $500). Carefully sealed glass boxes preserve fresh wedding bouquets or ancient sports jerseys against the ravages of time and being nailed to a wall. In addition to framing, industrial-size printers churn out high-quality images of digital artwork or doctors’ eye charts on fine papers and canvas.

J. Reznik Studios

The frames at J. Reznik Studios don't just immortalize old photographs and new college diplomas; they also keep the memories of fallen heroes alive. As the studio's in-house artist, Jodi Reznik has eased the pain of lost loved ones for dozens of families—such as those of Suffolk County police officer Glen Ciano and NYPD officer Russel Timoshenko—by memorializing them with brush strokes on canvas. Equal parts frame shop, gallery, and conversation space, the studio beckons art lovers of all stripes to interact with Jodi and her husband, Jeff, while they browse her work or select a frame for an existing piece. Expert print makers also enlarge and emblazon images on paper and canvas to forge eye-catching photo gifts, and staffers specializing in flower preservation enshrine bouquets from weddings or punish daisies with unpaid gambling debts behind quality glass. J. Reznik Studios has impressed not only walk-in customers, but online clients as well, earning an 86% customer-approval rating from Groupon users.
