Follow up question: Do you HAVE to have a DSLR camera for this? My daughter is VERY interested in photography, but we haven't gotten her a DSLR yet and don't know when we will. I would hate for her to not be able to take advantage of this. And as related to Nadine's question, my daughter IS in HS. Thanks.

A:

Any digital camera will be fine.

Q:

Hi, Is this offer geared toward young people, (students) or is it also for adults? Nadine

Nadine R.  asked on  Apr 30, 2012

A:

Hi Nadine, The class is for adults, however I have had several young people take it and do just fine. I would say they should be at least in high school and have a serious interest in learning. Thanks, Gary

Q:

what is the difference between a digital SLR and point and shoot camera?

Wendy L.  asked on  Apr 30, 2012

A:

Hi Wendy, A digital SLR is a camera that has changeable lenses, while a point and shoot camera is usually smaller and simpler with one fixed lens on it. Please let me know if you have any other questions, Gary
