Climb aboard The Christmas Express and travel deep into the heart of the holiday, with a few charming twists along the way. At the start of this stage comedy, Christmas cheer -- or excitement of any sort -- is in short supply at the train depot in the town of Holly. That is until the mysterious Leo Tannenbaum shows up. Shortly thereafter, a broken radio suddenly turns back on and the local group of singers (that normally sounds like yowling cats being bathed) suddenly rises to the level of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Is it Leo? Is it ... magic? This nostalgic theatrical greeting card is full of eccentric small-town characters, wise-cracking their way to finding the true wonder of Christmas.
