What You'll Get
Despite being useful cheat sheets, Scantron test tattoos serve little purpose once the SAT exams are over and can be difficult to remove with just the eraser from a No. 2 pencil. Erase unwanted ink with today's Groupon: for $50, you get a laser tattoo-removal treatment on up to 10 square inches at Ricciolo Salon and Day Spa in La Verne (up to a $285 value).
At Ricciolo Salon and Day Spa, a registered nurse traces skin art with an advanced laser system to remove unwanted tattoos. Ink embedded in the epidermis rises in temperature, breaks into smaller fragments, and temporarily shape-shifts into a squid as it soaks up the focused rays of the Palomar Q-Yag 5 laser system. Since the laser bursts only target ink, surrounding tissues generally remain unaffected, with most patients reporting minimal discomfort or side effects. Once the pigmented particles become small enough, the body’s immune system takes over and eliminates the regrettable body doodles. It takes up to 15 minutes to banish up to 10 square inches of ink, depending on the size, intricacy, and debate skills of the tatted illustration.

Men and women sink into comfortable styling stations where expert mane-tamers shape distinctive looks with precise cuts, color, and conditioning treatments. In cozy private rooms, licensed aestheticians and massage therapists alleviate the stress that builds up in muscles used too often to lift pianos or lazy pianists, using deep-tissue and hot-stone massages. Ricciolo's resident doctor, Dr. Jen Chow, provides nonsurgical treatments such as Botox, Latisse, and Juvéderm to client to smooth out facial creases.
