Q:

Would the $200 credit go towards just the lenses or would it also go towards the frame?

Joseph R.  asked on  Jun 27, 2013

A:

The Groupon will only be valid towards a complete pair of prescription glasses, both lenses and frames.

The above statement is correct, but we want to be flexible. I have had calls asking if the groupon can be used toward a frame only or toward lenses only.I would say to every one a favorite frame or a frame that is great quality can last some times for a few years, and we only sell frames of this quality. But eyewear like any thing else can and does become discontinued. It is best to purchase a new frame and if the prescription has changed enough get a less expensive set of lenses for your old frame so you have a back up pair. If you invest and put lenses into a existing frame and it is discontinued you will becoming to me for a repair instead of a frame replacement. All of our frames have either a I year or 2 year warranty for defects. We also have a special package for groupon customers who have purchased there coupon and have purchased eyewear in the store, you will have to come in to know what the special package is.Also for all those who have purchased a groupon and may be coming in to purchase soon or in the next few weeks I have a appreciation offer for all of you I have 60 pairs of non-prescription sunglasses(some you can use for prescriptions) from different makers and styles that will be given out for free on July the 4th from 10am to 2pm or until they are all gone. All you have to do is show your groupon voucher on paper or on your phone.Meet me and when your ready come back in and redeem your coupon.

Q:

I have recently had eye exam and have copy of my current prescription. I have VSP eye coverage and know they will partially cover a new pair of glasses. Due to the fact my lenses are no line bifocals I will be left with some to pay. If I purchase the groupon can I also combine my vision insurance with it.

Cheri L.  asked on  Jun 28, 2013

A:

No, your Groupon will not be valid with insurance or with other offers.

A:

The answer was very accurate, No one combines insurance and sales. But we want your business we can help you to calculate the cost and saving from purchasing from us with your Groupon verses your insurance in a lot of situations your saving will be the same. When using VSP there is usually a small selection for choosing your frame and they only cover the most basic of lenses. And when gong out of network it is usually on a dollar amount off or a percentage. We will provide you with a great selection of frames and lenses and in some cases your insurance provider will let you submit your receipt for your re-inversment.

Q:

how long will it take for me to get my new glasses

John M.  asked on  Jun 27, 2013

A:

This can fluctuate per order, generally you can expect your glasses to be ready in 3-7 business days.

John  from  Groupon  replied on  Jul 1, 2013

A:

The usual time 3 to 7 days, but soon we will have our on-site finish lab up and going and will be able to provide same day or next day service on single vision eyewear. Also we will give you the option either stock or custom ground lenses.Stock lenses are less expensive for us to purchase so we will have 2 pricing tiers for most single vision orders. This helps you the customer to have more options and to get a quality pair of lenses that fit your budget. Most opticals charge the same price for either stock or custom ground(surfaced) lenses I feel I should pass the savings on to my patients. And to inform you of what you are really getting for your money.

We have been asked this question a few times, with customers from Groupon .I want to insure every one thinking of purchasing a coupon or that has all ready. We do not inflate our prices to offer a great deal like this one. We want you to have the best experience possible and get a great price on your new eyewear. This being said we are not a discount store or a wholesale warehouse but a friendly neighborhood dispensary that offers only the best products at a affordable price. If you have shopped lenscrafters,Visionworks,Private Docotrs offices and Dispensaries are prices are competitive with these retailers.I hope this encourages every one to take advantage of the offer and if you are not ready please stop in your all ways welcome.
