Take a ride on our Solar-Powered Party Bike throughout downtown Halifax to visit some of Nova Scotia's finest restaurants, pubs, distilleries, and historic venues!

• The FIRST Party Bike tour in Atlantic Canada (along with Charlottetown, PEI), Ride Solar's unique tour offers up to 14 passengers an opportunity to pedal your way to various pubs, restaurants, and unique sight-seeing/historic locations in the birthplace of Canada.

• This four wheeled "bike" is powered by up to 12 people pedaling (minimum of 8 required to move the bike) with additional seating for a total of 14 passengers and has an electric assist motor to help us zip along VERY EASILY.

• The power to the electric assist motor, all instrumentation, lights & sound system are powered by 1.2kW of solar panels on the roof.

• Our Party Bike is SAFE. It is CE approved, legal to be driven on the roads, moves at slow speeds, has a grab bar to hold, and even has seat belts for added safety. Passengers may be required to wear helmets supplied by Ride Solar at no extra cost.

• Green, clean, fun, & safe - just like Nova Scotia!

Take a ride on the Island Solar Party Bike throughout downtown Charlottetown to visit some of PEI's best pubs and most scenic/historic venues!

• The FIRST Party Bike tour in Atlantic Canada, Ride Solar's unique tour offers up to 14 passengers (including one wheelchair!) an opportunity to pedal your way to various pubs, restaurants, and unique sight-seeing/historic locations throughout the birthplace of Canada.

• This four wheeled "bike" is powered by up to 10 people pedaling (minimum of 6 required to move the bike) with additional seating for up to 14 passengers.

• All instrumentation, lights, sound system, & electric pedal assist motor are powered by 1.2kW of solar panels on the roof.

• Our party bike is safe, moves at slow speeds, has an adjustable grab bar to hold and every seat has a seat back and seatbelt to keep all riders secure.

• Passengers may also choose to wear helmets supplied by Ride Solar at no extra cost. ​

NOTE: Please arrive at least 20 min before your trip departure for a safety briefing for the Pedal Bus. Tours will start ON TIME, EVERY TIME as we are on a tight schedule with our pub/restaurant partners!

NOT a standard ''sight-seeing'' tour - this tour is all about music, drinks, good food, & fun on the bike! Do feel free to ask our drivers about some landmarks that you will pass by during the tour, such as Victoria Park cannons, Beaconsfield House, the 3 Churches on Prince St, and Government House, where it was first decided that Canada would become a country in 1867!
