About This Deal

Studying wine grapes in their natural habitat is much more enjoyable than exploring the dank, melancholy caverns of root beer’s namesake. Stroll through blissful vineyards with this voucher.

Choose Between Two Options

  • $35 for a tour, a wine-tasting class, and snacks for two (a $134 value)
  • $69 for a tour, a wine-tasting class, and snacks for four (a $248 value)

Tour guides take visitors on a tour of the site, showing them the vineyard and winery grounds. Afterward, guests retire to the two-story adobe tasting room—a historical landmark built in 1884. There they sip five samples of different Rhône varietals, learn wine terminology, receive instruction in wine-tasting etiquette and food pairings, and snack on artisanal cheeses and a fresh baguette.

About Rideau Vineyard

Founded in 1997, Rideau Vineyard has been producing highly-acclaimed, small-lot wines for two decades. Our thirteen acres of estate vines are comprised of five Rhône varietals—Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre, Viognier, and Roussanne—which are harvested by hand and bottled as highly-expressive blends and varietal wines. We also source from top vineyards in the region to produce additional Rhône and non-Rhône varietals such as Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sangiovese, and Malbec. In addition to the unique setting of our historic adobe tasting room, the beautiful picnic grounds attract weekenders and locals alike to relax on the rolling green lawns in the shade of centuries-old oak trees.
