What You'll Get
Dance can express what words cannot, whether it's the triumphant joy in a football player's post-touchdown pirouette or the passionate tango used to notify roommates that the basement is flooding. Transmit tidings with twinkling toes thanks to today’s Groupon: for $30, you get one month of unlimited group dance classes and dance parties at Rigby's Jig (a $60 value).
Founded by the flowing Eleanor Robertson, Rigby's Jig hosts dance classes for all skill levels, styles, and personalities. Different dances are offered each night, with genres including Latin, swing, country and western, ballroom, and free-form social dancing. Dance parties shake up the floor every Thursday from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m., and guests are welcome to fly solo and mingle about in the active atmosphere. Likewise, for both group classes and group dance parties, the spacious ballroom allows students to practice new moves without worry of slippery follow-throughs or unexpected summersault routines.
Rigby's Jig was awarded Best Dance Classes by Richmond magazine in 2008.

About Rigby's Jig Dance Studio
With a lifetime's worth of experience—starting at the age of 3 and including a bachelor's in Theater and Dance from George Washington University—owner Eleanor Robertson has provided an atmosphere for group learning and inspiring dance experiences to all who have walked through the studio’s doors since its 2003 opening. Students have the opportunity to attend nightly group classes, weekly dance parties and other social events that allow participants to try out new steps with members of the broader dance community. “The Jig” participates in several non-profit fundraisers each year and has gained recognition on multiple occasions by Richmond Magazine for their services in categories such as “Best Place to Dance” and “Best Dance Instructors”.
