Whether you believe in it or not, gravity makes tides turn, rain fall, and senators filibuster. Add whimsy to your wariness with today's Groupon: for $14, you get a single adult admission to Ripley's Believe It or Not! Times Square (a $29.34 value, including tax).

Ripley's Believe It or Not! Times Square opens the doors of its Odditorium to showcase nearly 18,000 square feet of galleries and interactive exhibits, featuring more than 500 rarities, relics, and record-setters culled from the explorations of Robert Ripley. During your tour, play hands-off duck duck goose with a gallery of 24 authentic shrunken heads, ponder the plight of the six-legged cow's tailor, or encounter the life-size albino giraffe from your recent dream-quest. Historical artifacts include a piece of the Berlin Wall and a collection of genuine Olympic torches, while iconic Americana items include Babe Ruth's jersey and a lock of Elvis Presley's hair.

Guests can take home their own slice of souvenir surrealism at The Odd Shop, including sharks in jars and insect candies, ideal party favors for your office's next "uniquely packaged dead animals"-themed get-together.

This Groupon does not cover admission to the Ripley's Impossible LaseRace attraction.

Yelpers give Ripley's Believe It Or Not! Times Square 3.5 stars on average. It's been a Critic's Pick in New York magazine, and the New York Times recommends it:

  • …you will have been amazed at many things, and perhaps even cry aloud a few times, asserting how much easier it would be to choose the second alternative in this franchise’s title than the first. – Edward Rothstein, New York Times
  • It's a great place to go and see weird, freaky things and take lots of cool memorable pictures. – Shannon A., Yelp
  • Did I mention it has secret bookshelf doors? I mean come ON! How cool is THAT? – Shawn A., Yelp

Ripley's Believe It or Not! Times Square

Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Times Square winds visitors through twisted halls housing more than 500 artifacts of whimsy, amazement, curiosity, and intrigue. Along self-guided tours of the Odditorium, groups of awestruck wanderers gaze upon a two-headed cow, an albino giraffe, and the skeleton of a giant crocodile while perusing more than 20 themed galleries. Pickled heads stare out of jars and medieval torture devices such as dot-matrix printers hang from the ceiling while an authentic hunk of the Berlin Wall stands in remembrance of the time it got to meet David Hasselhoff. Among the more than one dozen new artifacts are a Marilyn Monroe collection, including never seen before personal belongings, a life-size steampunk locomotive made of over 1 million matchsticks, the fastest walking tour of NYC, and a newly designed Babe Ruth theater with plenty of sports memorabilia.

Outside, beneath the marquee, guests witness the antics of performers swallowing swords, breathing fire, and pushing the limits of the human body. Back inside, guests navigate Ripley’s laser maze, contorting and slithering through a room crisscrossed with green lasers. The playhouse of eccentricities—a birthday-party hot spot—and its Odd Shop stock enough insect candy and one-eyed stuffed canines to feed a pet clown for months.
