Ristorante San Marco
When Josephine and Leo Leone opened Ristorante San Marco in 1998, they wanted the restaurant to celebrate the foods of their homeland. So they filled their menu with dishes from southern Italy and Sicily: homemade pastas, grilled meats, and fresh seafood. While their recipes are tried-and-true Italian classics, each dish gets a bit of flair from the multicultural kitchen—chefs hail from Spain, Vietnam, and Kenya. The wines hail from all over as well, with options from Italy, California, and France.
The restaurant also boasts an attached piano bar, where diners can sip cordials, cognacs, and dessert wines amid live music. A trio of classically trained pianists—Bobby Lee, Sal Anthony, and George Sinkler—tickle the ivories nightly and take requests from the audience.
