River Guide Kayaks

Great blue herons stalking the wildflowers along the Kinnickinnic River. Trout leaping out of the water to feed. Self-guided kayaking trips ease past these and more dramatic sites, which typify the undeveloped riverbanks throughout eastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin. Each outing begins at a select meet-up point, from which guides provide shuttle service to and from the launch sites. River Guide Kayak's new location, The Nippersink Creek is a beautiful kayak river within a short distance of Chicago, Milwaukee, Kenosha, and Racine. Guests will meet staff at the Pioneer Landing, where they will be shuttled to Keystone Road landing in Richmond, Illinois.

Customer Reviews

We had a great experience. Booking online was easy but they fill up fast during the summer so must book well in advance. The kayaks were great. the owner said they purchase new kayaks every year. These kayaks were comfortable and steered well. The van that picked us up at the end was clean and comfortable. They picked us up right at the rivers edge and brought bottled water. The river was beautiful and peaceful. Would definetly recommend this company. We later went with another company and the kayaks were old, small and uncomfortable. They did not steer well either. They made us carry the kayaks up the hill to the street at the end. River Guide kayak is more expensive but worth the price. I will only go with River Guide kayaks in the future.
