On this 9-mile stretch of relaxing currents, kayakers begin paddling at Morrow’s Meadow, then take the river’s bedrock-lined west fork to Chesterfield. This natural forest canopy features cranes, turtles, muskrat, fox, and deer.
River Guide Kayaks
Deer munching on plants along the bank of the White River. Turtles swimming amongst the water flora to feed. On self-guided kayaking trips, paddlers drift past these and other sites along the idyllic and slow-flowing river. Each outing begins at a select meet-up point, from which guests are shuttled to and from the launch sites. Along with unveiling the rivers’ untouched scenery, River Guide’s team can also add a kayaking guide to each trip, taking guests into streams teeming with brown, rainbow, and zebra-striped trout at an extra cost of $20/hr.

About River Guide Kayaks
Great blue herons stalking the wildflowers along the Kinnickinnic River. Trout leaping out of the water to feed. Self-guided kayaking trips ease past these and more dramatic sites, which typify the undeveloped riverbanks throughout eastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin. Each outing begins at a select meet-up point, from which guides provide shuttle service to and from the launch sites. River Guide Kayak's new location, The Nippersink Creek is a beautiful kayak river within a short distance of Chicago, Milwaukee, Kenosha, and Racine. Guests will meet staff at the Pioneer Landing, where they will be shuttled to Keystone Road landing in Richmond, Illinois.
