About River Rock Bed & Breakfast Cottage
The River Rock Bed & Breakfast Cottage is a home away from home thanks to proprietor Danielle Petty, who equips the freestanding two-bedroom cottage like a private residence. In the living room and two bedrooms, Petty lends a contemporary decorative touch with soft lighting, bright area rugs, and a mini library stocked with books and DVDs to prevent visitors from lethargically constructing card houses or performing mock witch trials. Snacks for anytime munching stock the pantries, and every morning heralds the satisfaction of a continental breakfast.
Travelers can tidy clothes with a washer and dryer after working up a sweat with a game of ping-pong, volleyball, or horseshoes, or cool down with a dip in the swimming pool. WiFi and flat-screen TVs with digital cable can keep business pros and robotic children plugged in if need be, and a trampoline and hot tub invite everyone to let go of their worries.
Within easy walking distance of the cottage, downtown Cleburne's antique stores, outdoor markets, and restaurants beckon visitors. For a more scenic excursion, head to Cleburne State Park, home to 5.5 miles of mountain bike trails, a 116-acre spring-fed lake, and Bigfoot.
