Q:

Understand that the $30.00 (4 hours) doesn't include lunch, but how long is the stop (in other words, is it long enough for lunch)? Also, is it four hours on the water, or four hours including the stop?

Todd P.  asked on  Mar 28, 2013

A:

Todd, the ride over is about 65-70 minutes, we give 2 hours there (pleny of time for a meal) and 70 minutes back

Q:

How long is the stop at the Restaurant? Long enough to eat some steamed crabs?

Steve M.  asked on  Mar 27, 2013

A:

Steve, We stay there 2 hours. If you are like Capt. Mark who can really enjoy the all you can eat, then two hours might not be enough time, so he will simply enjoy a dozen crab. We all know that when crowded, the wait at Tims can be up to an hour, so the dozen size meal is the better choice.

Q:

Can you keep the fish you catch or is this catch and release Wanda

Wanda J.  asked on  Mar 26, 2013

A:

Wanda, It is your choice of how or whether you keep the fish. As there is no fish cleaning allowed at the Park, we put all your fish into either your cooler or a heavy bag with ice to take home. All the varieties of fish caught are edible and ( based on the cooks skills :) delicious.

Q:

Question about the fishing trip for four; do the 4 people fish off of the 50 foot pontoon boat? How do you fish, trolling, anchored? Is it bottom fishing or is it fishing over structure (sunk trees, artificial reefs, etc...)? Is the gear and tackle provided; spinning reels, open face reels? What kind of liscense is needed, VA, MD, any at all? Thanks.

james s.  asked on  Mar 25, 2013

A:

From the business:

It is a 50 foot pontoon boat. We fish anchored bottom fishing. Everything is provided, we use open face reels and spinning rods. We use exclusively live and cut bait. No license is needed, the boat has license for all passengers.
