Q:

Normally this is a 6 hour class. What is left out to make it now a 3 hour class for the Groupon?

Carrie H.  asked on  Dec 12, 2012

A:

The six hour class is on dry land initially then we move to the river. The class combines this by utilizing a dock on a lake where you are casting on water the entire time which simulates water tension on the line. Also there are no hooks but you are casting yarn again to simulate a hook. This allows us to condense the class and really focus on mechanics in a shorter window.

Q:

Hi, If we take the tour is any instruction/help given? I have never done fly fishing only the regular swimming worm fishing which I love. My father used to go fly fishing and I'd like to try it. Thanks for your help.

Carrie H.  asked on  Dec 12, 2012

A:

I suggest taking the intro class then you will be ready to go on the guided tour spending all your time fishing not learning

Does this include the use of equipment? I have no fishing equipment, but want to be sure this is something I will do before I make equipment purchases.
