A Chat with River Yoga
What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
River yoga has a flexible schedule of classes to accommodate your schedule. Classes range from Traditional yoga classes perfect for beginners. Our Vinyasa classes move at a faster pace and offer more challenging postures. The Yin class works with the body to release connective tissue and joints.
Exercise is challenging. How do you keep clients motivated and engaged?
Practitioners are given individual attention before, after, and during the yoga practice. Each instructor takes an interest in the specific needs of each person in the class. Modifications are given to accommodate specific concerns of practitioners.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
River Yoga was started to bring yoga to an underserved area. Yoga can bring added strength, flexibility, and balance to the body. We hope to serve our community by bringing health and healing.
What do you love most about your job?
The most rewarding part of teaching yoga is watching the progress that happens in the mind and body. Many people come to gain strength or work through an injury. Some come to find peace of mind. It is exciting to watch a person reach their goals.
