Commonly Asked Questions

Q:

How much is the extra fee for patients with periodontal gum disease?

Nicole A.  asked on  May 1, 2012

A:

It depends on the severity of the disease and how many teeth are affected. An average fee for 1/4th of your mouth (we call it a quadrand) is around $195. So for a full mouth it could be 4 times that. I would recommend that this is a great deal to get a diagnosis and a treatment plan. We have found that persons who were boardeline periodontal disease at other offices, have recieved treatment ofr gum disease at a much lesser fee at ours. Unfortunately that is the best I can answer your question without an examination. Hope this helps.- Dr. Barber

Q:

Since you split your fee with groupon how can you afford to do the procedures described for only $ 29.50 ?

janie s.  asked on  May 1, 2012

A:

The concept of the Groupon is not to make a profit but to introduce our practice, our team, and our services to interested patients. If you see our comments from previous Groupon users, we usually accomplish this mission. :))) As an additional perk we get to meet many great new people! - Dr. Barber
