In addition to sometimes cutting entire patterns by hand, the technicians at Rob’s Glass Tinting enlist the aid of a ComputerCut plotter, which can download and cut patterns in a fraction of the time it takes to finish a job by hand. They also rely on the UV-stopping power of films by Solar Gard and Hüper Optik as well as an array of advanced ceramic and nanocarbon polyester films by 3M—nonmetallic films that don’t interfere with radio waves, satellite signals, or telepathic conversations.
