Fresh fruit is all well and good, but it doesn't play to most Americans' lazy stance on chewing. Turn healthy fruit into healthy, smooth smoothies with today's Groupon: for $7, you get $15 worth of fruit-based libations and nutritious foods at Robeks. Choose from three locations in Atlanta, Marietta, or Roswell.
Robeks uses the freshest ingredients to craft made-to-order drinks and eats that will make you feel guilt-free about grabbing a quick bite. Join the berry party with berry smoothies such as the Banzai Blueberry, Strawnana Berry, and Cranberry Quest, all of which pulverize fruit together with all-natural juice, nonfat yogurt or sherbet, and ice ($3–$5.75). For more pulchritudinous pulverized pulp, energize your day with power smoothies,($5.95–$6.95) including the Cardio Cooler (with a base of passion fruit and mango juice). Power smoothies blend juices, nonfat yogurt or sherbets, soy or whey protein, and vitamin boosters into an elixir that will revitalize even the most workout-withered body. Bites include protein-packed gourmet pretzels, such as tomato parmesan or spinach feta, and the hair-raising goodness of power muffins or cookies with flavors such as oatmeal raisin, chocolate chip, lemon poppy seed, and more ($2.95 each).
Juice smoothies are excellent tools for healthy lifestyles, and drinking them is a delicious strategy for getting your daily fruits and veggies that doesn't involve pretending to be a Nigerian prince with a surplus of money and a surfeit of bananas.
Eight Yelpers give Robeks in Atlanta an average of 4.5 stars:
- Smoothies here are very very good, not too sugary or icy or frozen treat-ish like some other places. These are juice-based smoothies so muchh [sic] healthier. – Helen H., 6/10/10
- The smoothies are not cheap, but I suppose the price is worth the quality of the ingredients. They are so filling that it could count as a meal. – Kate C., 11/2/08
