Great instructor. Kept my children engaged the full time. We did half day. Would be too long to do full day for elementary school students.

Kids ages 7–14 learn science, technology, engineering, and math concepts through building a robot that can race, dance, or do battle

About Robots-4-U

Robot 4-U is turning STEM into STEAM. That's because, aside from science, technology, engineering, and math, the company's day camps work in a touch of art: the point isn't just to solve problems, but also to get creative. During sessions, children build imaginative projects such as moving artworks or individually controlled robots using carefully placed motors, circuits, and infrared sensors. The end result is a dynamic creation—flowers that rustle in the wind, perhaps, or butterflies that tap dance—which children can enter into an art display or a racing, dancing, or battle-bot challenge.

My son had fun. Some parts seemed disorganized. The person who was supposed to teach programming on a particular day wasn't there so the students couldn't program on that day. The kit purchased along with the Groupon on the website was not the kit they worked with in class. We didn't know because the kit didn't arrive until the last day of class even though it was ordered way in advance. I had to scramble on the last day to have my dad pay the difference in the kits because he picked up my son. I just felt it could have been more organized for the amount paid. I did like the safety features of signing in and out. I would not have paid full price for this camp. As a Groupon, it was worth it.

Chaotic at best in terms of organization and not a thorough introduction to robotics, this camp nevertheless entertained our son such that if it were up to him, he'd return. Constant sales pitch for robotics kits got old. We don't feel like the camp provided a greater value than he would have experienced had we purchased the kit and book and let him work his way through it at home, except that the day he was running behind and one of the instructors just picked up his bot and finished it for him would not have gone the same in our house.

The program was very good, the kids enjoyed it very much. The location was a disappointment, the manager changed it, i did not check it. I would recommend the program, but check the location.
