The class covers topics related to jump-starting metabolism, losing weight, and maintaining a lower weight. During the consultation, a weight-loss expert devises a personalized long-term plan while clients compose a “Dear John” letter to their sweatpants. Over the remainder of the program, clients dine largely on Ideal Protein dishes (only the first week is included in this Groupon) and gradually re-introduce regular foods into their diet. After weekly coaching sessions indicate the time is ripe, carbohydrates make a carefully controlled return to the dinner table. Clients should be prepared to manage their own eating habits at this point, but six monthly post-program meetings can help clear up remaining concerns.
The group workshop and face-to-face coaching sessions will take place at either Rock Creek Spine and Rehabilitation Center in Broomfield, or Pinnacle Spine and Rehab Center in Highlands Ranch, and there are never any group weigh-ins.
