Rockaway Jet Ski - Rockaway Beach, NYC: Half-Hour Jet-Ski Rental or Four-Hour Jet-Ski Tour of New York City Harbor for Two from Rockaway Jet Ski (Up to 53% Off)

Until the personal watercraft was invented, mankind's only hope for summer fun involved competitive sunburning and watching flowers die. Make the outdoors great with this Groupon.

Choose Between Two Options

  • $49 for a half-hour jet-ski rental for two on one jet ski and two martinis or cocktails (up to a $105 value)
  • $299 for a four-hour guided jet-ski tour of the New York City harbor for up to two (a $600 value)

After cruising around Jamaica Bay on one shared jet ski during a half-hour rental period, guests can return to Thai Rock for their martini or cocktail. On four-hour guided harbor tours, wetsuit-clad participants voyage past the Manhattan skyline and city landmarks such as Governors Island, the Statue of Liberty, and the World Financial Center. Photos taken throughout the tour will subsequently be available online.

Rockaway Jet Ski

Most visitors to New York City spend their time wandering the streets or riding the subway. Rockaway Jet Ski, however, affords guests a third, often overlooked mode of transportation—water. Located in the Rockaways at Thai Rock restaurant, the company rents out flyboards, kayaks, and stand-up paddle boards, as well as Yamaha VX Cruisers from its exclusive fleet for leisurely jaunts around Jamaica Bay. Guided tours, meanwhile, lead jet skiers past classic New York landmarks such as Ellis Island, the Brooklyn Bridge, and Battery Park, a tranquil seaside park where ducks, squirrels, and wild Energizer bunnies roam. Stand up paddle boards navigate through the serene waters of Jamaica Bay while catching distance views of the Manhattan skyline. Longer jet-ski trips include a journey up the Hudson River, around the entirety of Long Island, or a multiday excursion to Atlantic City.
