What You'll Get
A strong man wrestles you to the ground to show off; a stronger man boosts your self-esteem and then accidentally breaks three of your ribs with a supportive hug. Learn the tenets of both strength and community with today's Groupon: for $49, you get a 10-class punch card for boot camp classes at Rockford Fitness in Loves Park (a $150 value). Classes are available Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings 4:30 p.m.–5:30 p.m. and 5:30–6:30 p.m.; and Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings 5:30 a.m. –6:30 a.m.
Rockford Fitness's motivating instructors implement high-intensity interval-training circuits designed to burn calories and keep all attendees on their toes for 60 sweat-slicked minutes. Ropes, sleds, sledgehammers, and tires take the place of traditional exercise equipment, encouraging students to overcome new obstacles alongside fellow campers. Like snowflakes, students are neither identical nor made of steel, which is why Rockford Fitness trainers offer up to four levels of difficulty for each stop on the circuit. Boot camp classes meet Monday–Friday, with warm-up stretching times scheduled as early as 5:30 a.m. or as late as 5:30 p.m.

About Rockford Fitness
Tyler Fagan founded Rockford Fitness with the goal of fostering a welcoming environment focused on his members' results rather than just generating memberships. He and his devoted team of personal trainers work to build a community of support and camaraderie, motivating patrons to get in shape with fitness routines that suit each of their needs and goals, from trimming excess pounds to increasing strength in day-to-day activities, such as walking up stairs and lifting boxes of sumo wrestlers. Eschewing rows of treadmills and gym machines, Rockford Fitness is stocked with ropes, pull-up bars, suspension equipment, and kettlebells for varied fitness regimens. Inspiring clients to sweat and build muscle with this equipment, the trainers develop a custom total-body workout based on functional movements to restore range of motion in joints and strengthen core muscle groups.
