Horses were once considered man’s best friend, but after the invention of the dog, the horse was rebranded as man’s eccentric, oat-obsessed uncle. Take a journey with the kindest of kinsmen with today's Groupon: for $20, you get a two-hour afterschool horse-riding camp at Rockin' B Riding Club (a $40 value). Lessons are held Monday–Friday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Choose from the following dates:

  • One day during the week of April 4–8
  • One day during the week of April 11–15
  • One day during the week of April 18–22
  • One day during the week of April 25–29
  • One day during the week of May 9–13

The experienced staff at Rockin' B Riding Club aims to share its extensive knowledge of all things equine through classes, camps, and events. In the afterschool lesson, youth ages 7–17 learn the basics of English and western-style horseback riding, general grooming and care tips, and beginning horse-whispering techniques. Hidalgos of all skill levels can mount one of the club's own steeds and trot through an outdoor pasture or inside the covered arena. Approved riding helmets are provided to keep burgeoning buckaroos safe.

Rockin’ B Riding Club

Rockin’ B Riding Club’s 2.5-acre ranch boasts an indoor and an outdoor arena as well as a network of wooded paths for private rides. These facilities are home to seven school horses, who help teach young riders equestrian basics during camps and lessons alongside veteran instructors. Using the Certified Horsemanship Association curriculum, teachers focus on the basics of English- or Western-style riding but also throw in lessons on how to groom horses and how to tell the difference between a mare and a tall four-legged table.
