Choose Between Two Options
- $74 for one fly-fishing 101 class (a $149 value)
- $174 for an all-day fly-fishing tour for two (a $349 value)
During the one-day class, students learn the basics of fly-fishing with two or three hours of indoor instruction, and then they take their skills outdoors for four or five hours of practice on the water. The instructors provide all the necessary equipment and wading boots.
During fly-fishing tours, duos spend a day out fishing on the water, and staff members provide everyone in the group with rods, reels, waders, boots, and a full lunch and snacks.
Rocky Mountain Flyfishing Guides
Manned by a staff of well-equipped veteran fly-fishing experts, Rocky Mountain Flyfishing Guides offers both full-day and half-day fly-fishing trips. Guides lead anglers of all levels, from beginner to advanced, for a chance at the grand slam: rainbow trout, cutthroat trout, brown trout, and brook trout, all viewed and fished in a single trip. The mountainous landscapes, seen from the South Platte River, Clear Creek Canyon, Blue River, and Bear Creek, surround fishermen in dramatic scenery, including towering pine trees, giant red rocks, and bright-blue skies. In addition to guided trips, the staff also leads classes for all experience levels, including courses designed for women and families, on the South Platte River.
