This small quilt museum was having the 30th anniversary display of quilts made by several Japanese and Japanese Americans to commemorate those people who were incarcerated in concentration camps in America in the 1940s. Such thoughtful representations of their relatives or themselves! The main gallery had many quilts from quilters in the Idaho and Montana states. Oh! Such beautiful quilts! Mixed media quilts were exquisite and the landscape pieces were extraordinary! Then, they also have a well-stocked quilt shop with many fabrics and notions! That was a total surprise to me! It made me wish that I was a quilter!

We were running late and got there just 30 minutes before they closed. We spent 25 minutes gawking at Caryl Bryer Fallert Gentry's quilts and then wanted to ship. The assistant there was so nice. She said to take our time and she would stay late. The show was fantastic!!!

It’s an intimate museum with a charming staff and a fun gift shop (more of a quilt shop). Enjoyed the current well curated display.

When you walk through the door you are greeted warmly. The staff couldn't have been more welcoming! For my visit, the displays were quilts created by men and quilts using men's ties. Extraordinary works! A lovely docent explained many and then gave us the option to continue or go off on our own. I so appreciated the option. There is also a lovely shop with fabrics, notions and assorted finished works. Although this is a small museum, it is very much worth the time to visit.
