Till death do they part -- but first, they have to make it down the aisle. In the play Big Love, fifty brides leave their fifty grooms at the altar and seek refuge in a large Italian villa. However, when the jilted husbands invade the sanctuary of their reluctant brides, the women devise a plan to ward off their unwanted advances and escape their ill-fated arranged marriages. Filled with mayhem, grooms in flight suits and pop song numbers, this modern spin on Aeschylus' The Danaids brings big laughs and an unlikely story of romance to North Adover's Rogers Center for the Arts.
