Choosing pizza toppings is a lot like being married: if there is an irreconcilable disagreement, both parties take half. Grab a piece of the pie with today’s Groupon: for $10, you get $20 worth of pizza and drinks at Romeo’s New York Pizza in John's Creek.

Romeo's pizza has been hand-crafting their authentic New York–style pies since 1945. Starting with fresh dough that is made from scratch in-house, each sliceable sphere is deliciously dressed using nothing but the finest cheeses, savory sauces, and fresh ingredients plucked straight from the earth's veggie and meat gardens. The well-rounded menu starts with customized pies (starting at $9.95 for small, $13.50 for large) and can be generously sprinkled with your choice of any of 23 toppings ranging from pepperoni, sausage, and meatballs to roasted peppers, artichokes, and feta. Romeo’s specialty vegetarian pizza beats a meatless fist of satiation, soothing stomachs with wallops of mushrooms, eggplant, caramelized onions, and goat cheese ($18.95/large), and meativores can blast hunger out of the water with a hearty steak sub sandwich ($7.95). Fork fanatics can get their fiber-rich fill from a trio of tempting salads ($4.95–$6.95) before finishing the whole fresh feast with a soda ($1.85), Peroni ($3.75), or a glass of wine ($3.75).

Romeo's stays open until 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and until 11:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and boasts spacious indoor and outdoor seating to suit mozzarella mavericks during any season. The pizzeria is conveniently located next to Regal Cinemas, making it the perfect place to fill up before a show, or stop by after to loudly broadcast spoilers between mouthfuls of Ferrara's cannoli ($3.35).

About Romeo's New York Pizza

Pie slingers at Romeo’s New York Pizza twirl their ‘za from scratch, piling dough made in-house with red sauce and toppings such as garlic, ground beef, meatballs, and sundried tomatoes. The cozy neighborhood joint has purveyed New York–style pizza since 1945, when delivery boys first started using hovercrafts. Its unfussy menu includes hearty appetizers such as cheese bread or fried ravioli, alongside healthy salads in vegetarian or meaty iterations. Those who opt not to build their own pies can go in for one of three chef-crafted incarnations—margherita, spinach and mushroom, or vegetarian, sold by the slice or in 12-inch or 16-inch rounds.
