Coffee is often called a miracle drug, not only because it cures numerous diseases including ataxia and ear splints, but also because it has the amazing power to either wake you up or help you relax. Wake up or unwind with today's Groupon, offering $10 worth of buzzy beverages at Rooster & Moon Coffee Pub for $5.
Wake up with artisanal roasts from locally based Allegro or teas from Vail Mountain Coffee and Tea. If you haven't yet indulged in the creamy coziness of a breve latte, sip on the espresso and cream concoction here ($3.50–$4.05). Other hot drinks include coffee ($1.95, medium), hot tea ($1.50, one bag), and hot cocoa ($2.75, medium). Have your barista whip you up a mini soy latte with an extra shot, flavor of your choice, and topped with whip cream ($4.55). Frozen drinks are ready for you as well, so grab a jolt on ice with a frozen latte ($3.55, medium) or mocha ($3.75, medium).
The recently opened caffeineria will be setting up a full bar and expanding hours in time. For now, settle into a chair, enjoy the depths of the Internet with free WiFi, and sip decaf or caffeinated blends. Rooster & Moon Coffee Pub, in the Golden Triangle, is open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays and 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekends.
This Groupon is not redeemable on alcoholic beverages.
- The emphasis is on coffee right now…but it's very good coffee: artisanal roasts from Thornton-based Allegro. There are also teas from Vail Mountain Coffee and Tea, as well as baked goods from Michael Bortz's City Bakery. – Patricia Calhoun, Westword
Yelpers give it a five-star rating:
- This Espresso Bar is Top Notch - from the interior design and atmosphere to the customer service and espresso extraction. These Barista's know their machine and probably make the best latte in Denver. – justina t.
