Rosati's of Fort Myers
The Rosati family's pizza-making history goes back more than half a century. Opening the first location on Taylor Street in Chicago, the family patriarch—who arrived in America with not much more than a dream of opening an Italian restaurant—treated customers to authentic handmade pies and an outrageously friendly disposition. Thanks to the family's love of good food and their customers, Rosati's became a hit and, over the next 50 years, gradually expanded to include nearly 200 locations in 13 states nationwide.
Even though Florida isn't known for it's 108-story skyscrapers and correctly prepared hot dogs (mustard, no ketchup), Rosati's of Fort Myers carries on the original location's Chicago tradition. In fact, it even ups the ante with an on-premise sports bar replete with TVs to watch the Cubs finally win the series. In addition to slinging classic Rosati's staples, including Chicago-style pizza, calzones, sandwiches, and pastas, this Floridian location also serves up on-draft beer, wine, and spirits.
