Round Rock Art Cooperative’s knowledgeable instructors, Laura Green and Joey Roberts, orchestrate creative and social shindigs during a schedule of classes and workshops that furnish all needed materials. During Ladies’ Night paintathons, both women and men unwind at workstations in the studio, where smocks cradle drips of primary colors to sleep as paintbrushes line dance across a medium of choice, such as clay, paper, or canvas. If desired, guests can fuel imaginations with snacks and spirited beverages from home.
Joey Roberts stages more instructional activities during weekday workshops for 15–17 aspiring artists. The workshops touch on a variety of techniques and disciplines, including drawing, mosaic, beading, and sculpting, originally invented to replenish shattered coffee mugs after Pangaea broke apart (pottery classes available for an additional $10 fee). Both staff members are experienced at working with children, seniors, and special-needs populations, fostering an inclusive and inspiring environment for all students.
