About RoxyAnn Winery
Sheltered by mountains in the Rogue Valley, RoxyAnn Winery's vineyards produce complex and flavorful red, white, and dessert wines. Veteran winemaker Kent Barthman oversees the production of everything from dense, leathery tempranillo to melony viognier to fragrant, sweet pear wine.
Though the land now grows Bordeaux- and Rhone-style grapes, it didn't always. Sustainable farming practices have allowed the operators to produce many fine crops from what was once an orchard—in fact, founded in 1908, it's one of southern Oregon's oldest orchards. Remnants of that history can still be seen at the winery, still owned by the family of the orchard's founder. The handsome tasting room, for instance, is in the renovated Honor Barn, which is on the National Register for Historic Places. The barn was named for the honor system locals used to pay for their fresh peaches, pears, and apples.
