Drunken noodles. Massaman curry. Lemongrass chicken. You'll find all of the classic dishes at Royal House Thai Cuisine, where husband-and-wife owners Michael Fong and Jenny Chen honor Thailand's culinary traditions. The duo honed their skills at a Thai restaurant on Long Island, New York, where they met while Fong was working as the head chef.
After moving to Fairfield, they opened Royal House in the restaurant-row area on Post Road. They transformed the former Cambodian joint that used to occupy the building into a chic spot outfitted with mosaic-topped tables and leather seats.
