For the better part of a century, fish haven't been able to sleep, swim, or walk their pet plankton without the looming threat of Royal Miss Belmar's anglers. 1936 was the year that the family-owned company launched its first fishing boat, and today an entire fleet heads out into New Jersey's waters in search of striped bass, fluke, bluefish, sea bass, and other species that inhabit the deep sea.

Captain Alan Shinn heads up the team today, and he brings a lifetime of fishing experience out onto the water. Piloting boats that range as large as the 120-foot The Miss Belmar Princess, Captain Shinn's crews carry passengers out on half-day, full-day, and overnight fishing trips. Though the deep-sea fishing highlights most trips, some feature special events such as fireworks cruises, and our boats feature a fully stocked galley with a cook on every trip.
