I bought a cleansing facial and dermaplaning. I called to book the appointment but couldn't get an answer and the mailbox was full. Thinking this was a place of business and maybe the receptionist stepped away, I kept calling. While I was trying to call, I received a text from the number I was calling stating.... "did you need to book an appointment." I was a little taken back because that seemed very unprofessional. After I responded, she called and was less than pleasant on the phone, but I booked the appointment anyway. The day before my appointment I received this text... "See you tomorrow at 10 for your spa appointment. Hopefully the weather will cooperate 801 Barret Avenue Louisville suite 214." I didn't see anything in that text indicating that I needed to respond so I didn't. The day of my appointment at 7:35 AM I received this text.... "is today 10 still good for you." "Please confirm." I replied and apologized for not replying to the text from the previous day (even though she didn't ask for a confirmation), and she replied with "Ok." The day of my appointment I had trouble finding the facility so I called and she was very rude and basically made me feel like an idiot. When I arrived, she said to me "if you didn't respond this morning to my text, I wouldn't have shown up." "I don't get much sleep, and most people that don't respond to my text are usually no shows." REALLY???? This is your business, and you're going to treat your customers like that? I can't believe I went through with it but I knew I wouldn't receive a refund if I walked out. I had never had a facial or any kind of service from an aesthetician so I was unsure what to expect, but I highly doubt this is the norm. The facial was nothing more than a warm towel and her smearing some creams on my face. I had to ask her what she was putting on my face and what the purpose of them were. She talked the entire time and cussed at her internet because the music wouldn't play on her phone. I was in a position where I was looking for education regarding my skin and was willing to spend money on the right products, and hopefully continued facials and treatment. The entire time she put down products I was using and said she worked with a Neurochemist to make the best products, yet she didn't tell me what she was using on my face or what effects I would see. The facial was maybe 30 minutes and I still have no idea if it was a "cleansing" facial or not. When I left I looked up the products that she claimed to create with a Neurochemist, and the website was unavailable. These products might be the answer to every integument issue known to man, but her selling tactics are horrific. She walked me out and pointed to the products and said "I used this, this, this and this." Ok, great. So what do they do? What are in them? Why should I use them? (I didn't actually ask these questions. There was no way I would ever consider purchasing anything else from there). I left and spent $200+ on other products and have been doing some serious homework on alternate aestheticians. I'm looking forward to monthly facials at a real business with a real aesthetician that actually wants customers. This was by far the most unprofessional and disappointing experience I have ever had in a professional setting.

I definitely felt like "Oh it's a Groupon person...no need to impress them". Technician did not introduce herself or bother to explain the process.
