Students may choose to stay in the recreational lesson program indefinitely without entering competitions.
Additionally, we offer a competitive prep program that includes opportunities for riders at all levels from novice riders going to their first show up to seasoned competitors showing on a national level in saddleseat, huntseat (flat), western, driving and equitation.
We teach beginner, intermediate and advanced lessons, no prior experience is necessary.

Rushton Stables, LA is a full-service lesson and horse training facility that specializes in pleasure horses (no jumping) and we believe that whether riding down the trail or into the show ring it should be a pleasure to ride. Located just 20 minutes from downtown Los Angeles in the San Fernando Valley, Rushton Stables, LA is the sister location of Rushton Stables, a World-renowned 6 training barn located in Galivan Hills, CA that has consistently met with success at the local, regional, and national level for over 25 years.
