Q:

I see that someone asked about how the teeth would look after being "prepped" since they wouldn't look like normal teeth until the veneers are delivered and applied. The answer: "1. Consult 2. Prepping the teeth for Veneers -- you will have a shell or temporary Veneers (extra cost) 3. Insert Veneers" That seems to show that there is an extra cost for the temporary veneers. But two earlier answers regarding what the deal includes says that it covers: "This deal includes the consultation, prep work, impressions, temporary crowns, and the delivery." Could you please verify? It seems inconsistent.

A:

There's two types of temps we offer. The shell temp is at no cost. If you'd like a custom made Veneer temp then there is an extra fee because they are laboratory made. The shell temp is made at the office and would be at no cost

Q:

So...perhaps this is a silly questions...but it says that the treatments happen over three visits. What is going on with my teeth in the meantime? I am worried about my mouth looking funky while the procedures take place.

Q:

Does the price cover everything(consult., exam, office appointment)? If I buy the deal for 6 veneers and it was decided during the exam that I needed more(or less) would i still get the groupon price on the different number? Is there any kind of warrenty in case they fall off?

michael h.  asked on  Jul 17, 2012

A:

Michael- Price covers consultation, prep work, insert. If you needed more Veneers but failed to purchase them then there could be a break in the original office price, but you would not get the Groupon deal. If the Veneers crack due to manufacturer defect, they will be replaced at no cost.

Q:

If you remove my old veneers (and the removal is covered with the price, right?), what would be an approximate estimate for cost if there is decay that needs to be fixed? Would it be an option for me to go to my own dentist to have it fixed if your costs are too high? I am trying to get a sense of what the possible overages could be to know how much I'd be spending on top of the price of the Groupon. Thanks.

Martha D.  asked on  Jul 15, 2012

A:

Cost to fix decay is dependent on how large the decay is. After I remove the old Veneers, I can tell you more about what I see, your options, prices, etc.

Q:

how long will this deal be running? how long can veneers stay on and do they chip easily? can people with veneers still drink coffee? is there a warranty with this deal such as, what if a veneer cracks within a certain amount of time or discolors, are these things under warrenty or any other warrenty items I should know about?

Dawn C.  asked on  Jul 15, 2012

A:

This deal is running until Thursday. Veneers can last you a good while and also do not discolor easily (many people drink 4 cups of coffee a day and the Veneers don't discolor - just remember to rinse your mouth with water afterwards . The longevity is based on many factors (i.e.: clenching, grinding, nail biting, etc.). The only warranty we offer is if there is a manufacturing defect, but will not be under warranty for misuses.

Q:

Can you get whiter than reg teeth cause stained from medicine when younger and that's the only reason why to get whiter teeth nothing wrong with them in general just greyish

carol f.  asked on  Jul 13, 2012

A:

Yes, you can have Veneers made to whiten your smile -- I suggest you have the teeth that are shown while you smile Veneered. Keep in mind that Veneers can be made if your occlusion allows it. You would have to come in and have a consultation in order to see if you are a candidate for Veneers.

Q:

I would like veneers on my front four teeth.I have these questions/concerns They have temporary bonding material on the two front teeth-they were chipped at various times I believe at least one is crowned-Will there be enough enamel to veneer with? And what happens if there is not? I like the contour and would want to replicate the same or similar contour with veneers instead of having the teeth all the same length Am I a candidate? Thank you for your time

kate r.  asked on  Jul 13, 2012

A:

Once a tooth is crowned, it cannot be Veneered ... the adajacent tooth perhaps can be veneered. It should be no problem to lengthen the centrals, if the occlusion allows.

Q:

Are these lumineers? I always wanted veneers but was always hesitant about having my teeth filed down to points. Do lumineers make you look like you have "horse teeth"? How long does it take for 6 veneers? Most dentists don't recommend lower teeth, but mine are shortened from grinding and "wavy". I don't grind anymore, but would like the teeth to look whiter and straight.

Judith M.  asked on  Jul 12, 2012

A:

No they are not lumineers. If your teeth are worn down from grinding then your occlusion is already compromised -- Veneers would not be able to be done.
