What You'll Get
There are only two instances in which it’s legal to drive at 200 miles per hour: racing around a certified track and outrunning a 199-mile-per-hour construction horse. Satisfy your need for speed with today’s Groupon to Formula Racing Experience at the Homestead-Miami Speedway. Choose between the following options:
- For $49, you get a three-lap High Speed Ride-Along experience (a $99 value).
- For $199, you get a Taste of Racing Formula Car experience (a $399 value).

Participants may purchase the $1,000 maximum property-damage-financial-liability cap at any time before they drive for $60. Experiences are currently scheduled for the following dates:
- Friday, February 17, 2012
- Monday, February 20, 2012
- Friday, March 9, 2012

Formula Racing Experience engages adrenaline glands with real-life rubber-burning packages, enjoyed on the Homestead-Miami Speedway’s paved oval track. During the High Speed Ride-Along, riders hop aboard a race-prepped Porsche and share three laps’ worth of in-the-action views with a professional driver. The Taste of Racing experience allows participants to don a safety firesuit and helmet, snatch the wheel of a real Formula car, and tear around the 2.33 HMS road course turns like professional racer or ambitious afterhours janitor. After 45 minutes of classroom instruction and test laps in an SUV familiarize soon-to-be drivers with the course’s corners, students get to take the wheel for 10 invigorating minutes, leaving their hair mussed, their eyes bulged, and their torsos coated in corporate sponsorships.
