Q:

If there is bad weather the day of our scheduled experience - will you reschedule it? Or could it be cancelled due to weather?

Teresa L.  asked on  Feb 14, 2013

A:

Hi Teresa, We will reschedule in the event of bad weather. You will have a weather number to call the date of your event, in the event of inclement weather you can reschedule to any of our dates in the future. Thanks,, Mark @ RWRE

Q:

If we buy the one hour deal as a gift, can they upgrade to two hours the day of the race if they would like to?

Elizabeth G.  asked on  Feb 12, 2013

A:

I'm very sorry, but they will not be able to upgrade. Each Groupon is only valid for the option purchased.

A:

Hi Elizabeth, We will value the voucher at retail, and you can upgrade your package in advance of your driving date if you'd like. Thanks, Mark @ RWRE

Do you have any specials on more encompassing experiences?

Hi Michael, We do not, however you can always purchase the Groupon and we will value it at full retail and you can upgrade from there. Thanks, Mark

Q:

If you choose the option to drive the car, is there an instructor also in the car riding "shotgun" . . . . or do you "follow" a professionally driven car in front of you? What is the average maximum speed a "non-professional" driver can attain? Thanks!!!

Paula E.  asked on  Feb 11, 2013

A:

Hi Paula, We use racing radios to communicate with the drivers in the racecar. You have a spotter while you are driving, there is no lead car. We feel it makes for a much more authentic experience. A good "student driver" will reach speeds of 121mph at Iowa Speedway. Thanks, Mark @ RWRE
