Q:

On the 8 lap course deal, do the drivers get to go each one buy one for 8 laps or do they drive as a group behind a pace car?

Amanda M.  asked on  Dec 10, 2012

A:

Hi Amanda, Neither. They will go out there with 4-6 other students. They will do 3 drill laps learning how to pass safely then they will do the remainder of the laps driving at full speed. They are in radio contact with an instructor and are allowed to pass when they catch another car. We say 4 laps for the drills but typically it is 2-3 laps and the remainder are at full speed. Thanks, Mark @ RWRE

Q:

How much time is spent in the class room vs on the track in the 8 lap deal for 2 hrs?

Amanda M.  asked on  Dec 10, 2012

A:

Hi Amanda, You will spend between 45 minutes and 1 hour in the classroom. Depending on where you are in the driving rotation you will go immediately out and drive the 8 laps. Thanks, Mark @ RWRE
