As practiced in ancient Chinese medicine, acupuncture rebalances the flow of energy through the body. Whether being practiced in its traditional or Western forms, acupuncture uses fine needles to target the body’s 12 meridians and redistribute energy. Patients look to these treatments for relief from pain and allergies, to stimulate weight loss, or even to cope with stress and its related symptoms. The initial session is one hour, and follow-up sessions are 45 minutes each.
SaHa Yoga Therapy
Shayan Landrum, M.S., L.Ac., half of the founding duo behind SaHa Yoga Therapy, is licensed in acupuncture and focuses on a gentle Japanese style. She studied in China, and during that time volunteered her acupuncture skills in Tibetan refugee camps in Northern India. She's also applied that skill much closer to home, teaching at Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine and serving as the acupuncturist at Exempla Good Samaritan Hospital. She eventually teamed up with Ty Landrum to found SaHa Yoga Therapy and share the therapeutic benefits of yoga with the masses. Their classes aim to alleviate more than a dozen conditions, including insomnia, cardiac disease, and digestive issues.
