Jason is a former Division 1 head tennis coach who has worked with professional and top world ranked juniors and has coached teams at prestigious institutions such as Cornell University and Marist College. If you’re looking for Jason outside campus, you’ll probably find him studying students’ footwork on the Har-Tru clay tennis courts at his eponymous tennis academy and at various locations of clients' choice. Having played number 1 singles and doubles for New York University, and as a junior player ranked nationally in the top 100 before that, Jason now shares his experience with players of all experience levels. He tailors his teaching strategies to the goals and objectives of each individual, whether he’s working with a weekend warrior, a touring professional, or an anthropologist conducting research on the natural habitats of ball boys. All of his programs—from one-on-one lessons to instructional clinics to summer sessions—stress the fundamentals, including proper stroke mechanics, footwork, and mental strategizing.
