Getting your family together for a game of laser tag is an easier way to keep track of the kids than ear tagging, which requires tranquilizer guns. Gather your herd sans violence with today's Groupon to Safari Quest Family Fun Center in Hammond. Choose between the following options:

  • For $49, you get an activity package for two (a $141 total value) that includes:

    • Two eight-activity punch cards (a $112 value)
    • 40 arcade tokens (a $10 value)
    • One large pizza (a $13 value)
    • Two unlimited soft drinks (a $6 value)

  • For $69, you get an activity package for four (a $271 total value) that includes:

    • Four eight-activity punch cards (a $224 value)
    • 88 arcade tokens (a $22 value)
    • One large pizza (a $13 value)
    • Four unlimited soft drinks (a $12 value)

Guests use punch cards to access a 3,000-square-foot multilevel laser-tag arena, a climbing course, and human-sized hamster balls in Safari Quest Family Fun Center's jungle-themed facility. Good-natured warriors harness beams of light as spectacularly as a shadow-puppet production of My Fair Lady while doing battle on the laser-tag course. Replicas of towering coconut trees beg to be climbed nimbly, and pool-bound human-sized hamster balls allow patrons to walk across water or orchestrate delicate twirling ballets.

Arcade tokens open the doors to a sea of flashing lights and digital chirping that rivals a robot's prom, and thundering ski-ball chutes bond visiting groups with friendly competition. A choice of pepperoni or cheese moves to the forefront of philosophical discussions as a large pizza sustains adventurous players, and soft drinks with unlimited refills erase the definition of the word parched.

Safari Quest Family Fun Center

Years from now, the whole world will be lit by black lights and people will battle for the last slice of pizza with laser gun battles—at least according to Safari Quest Family Fun Center. The futuristic laser-tag arena sprawls over 3,000 square feet, boasting multiple levels for competitors to run, duck, and hide from their opponents with the agility and speed of a frightened cottontail rabbit. On the ropes course, visitors challenge their balance and agility, while in the climbing area, kids make like monkeys as they scale coconut trees. To fuel the revelry, The Watering Hole serves up pizza, salads, and sandwiches.

Customer Reviews

While most of the staff was real nice, it was hard to get the attention of some of the young women as they were more interested in flirting and talking. I really enjoyed the experience and plan on having my son's birthday party there.

I loved it and the kids had fun. I just wished it was bigger with more games to play and a larger area for the hamster ball which was a blast. I would recommend other families to go, you will have a great family day.
