A wildlife park is the first place most people would go to see a leopard, whereas the second place would be the chainlink enclosure in Donald Sutherland's backyard. Steer clear of Donald Sutherland with this Groupon.

Choose Between Two Options

During customized-vehicle safaris, spectators espy zebra, antelopes, and other unique wildlife from beneath a truck’s canopy. Camel safaris invite visitors to see animals up close as they ride a gentle mount. Tours typically depart daily at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Safari Wilderness Ranch

Safari Wilderness Ranch's exotic wetland animals freely roam 260 acres of grassy plains, girded by an 850-square-mile watershed. Accredited by the Zoological Association of America and licensed by the USDA, the ranch is an agritourism project dedicated to teaching about endangered species through hands-on safaris. Wandering zebra and watusi cattle herds coexist harmoniously with waterbuck and red lechwe as explorers ride by on as explorers ride by on trucks. There is also a lemur habitat that allows guests to feed the ring-tailed lemurs grapes. Safari Wilderness Ranch was ranked by Fodor's as one of the top 10 safaris in the USA.

Customer Reviews

I was really impressed with the wilderness ranch, it was exciting to see the animals in a natural environment where they could roam. Zoos can make me sad when i see the animals caged, and the animals all seemed happy and content.

It was wonderful. The camels were very friendly and the tour guides did a great job dealing with them when one of the camels decided he didn't want to do the safari at all.
