A wildlife park is the first place most people would go to see a leopard, whereas the second place would be the chainlink enclosure in Donald Sutherland’s backyard. Steer clear of Donald Sutherland with this Groupon.

After cozying into a safari truck outfitted with a canvas top and stadium seating, up to 40 riders are taken on a tour of the 260-acre game reserve. Here, large herds of African animals, such as springboks, water buffalos, and elands roam the sprawling grounds. Experienced tour guides narrate the journey, pointing out a variety of endangered species as well as giving guests the go-ahead to feed the not-so-shy animals that wander up to the truck. Back at the safari lodge, riders can head off to the petting zoo and aviary or recline under a shaded canopy while enjoying the ranch’s views, which echo that of an African landscape. Tours run daily at 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m.
Safari Wilderness Ranch
Safari Wilderness Ranch's exotic wetland animals freely roam 260 acres of grassy plains, girded by an 850-square-mile watershed. Accredited by the Zoological Association of America and licensed by the USDA, the ranch is an agritourism project dedicated to teaching about endangered species through hands-on safaris. Wandering zebra and watusi cattle herds coexist harmoniously with waterbuck and red lechwe as explorers ride by on as explorers ride by on trucks. There is also a lemur habitat that allows guests to feed the ring-tailed lemurs grapes. Safari Wilderness Ranch was ranked by Fodor's as one of the top 10 safaris in the USA.
