What You'll Get
A wildlife park is the first place most people would go to see a leopard, whereas the second place would be the chainlink enclosure in Donald Sutherland's backyard. Steer clear of Donald Sutherland with this Groupon.
Choose Between Two Options
- $50 for a customized vehicle safari and lemur-feeding experience for one ($90 value)
- $90 for a customized vehicle safari and lemur-feeding experience for two ($180 value)
After cozying into a safari truck outfitted with a canvas top and stadium seating, up to 40 riders are taken on a tour of the 260-acre game reserve. Here, large herds of African animals, such as springboks, water buffalos, and elands roam the sprawling grounds. Experienced tour guides narrate the journey, pointing out a variety of endangered species as well as giving guests the go-ahead to feed the not-so-shy animals that wander up to the truck.
After the safari, you can head to the lemur habitat, where the resident ring-tailed lemurs will line up to carefully take grapes from your hand.
Next, you can see more animals at the petting zoo and aviary or recline under a shaded canopy while enjoying the ranch's views, which echo those of an African landscape.

About Safari Wilderness Ranch
Safari Wilderness Ranch's exotic wetland animals freely roam 260 acres of grassy plains, girded by an 850-square-mile watershed. The ranch is an agritourism project dedicated to teaching about endangered species through hands-on safaris. Wandering zebra and watusi cattle herds coexist harmoniously with waterbuck and red lechwe as explorers ride by on trucks. There is also a lemur habitat that allows guests to feed the ring-tailed lemurs grapes (lemur feedings and Coati encounters are available for purchase upon arrival). Safari Wilderness Ranch was ranked by Fodor's as one of the top 10 safaris in the USA.
