About Sagar Hot Yoga

Hot yoga can seem intimidating to first-timers, but the staff at Sagar Hot Yoga San Jose takes pains to make newcomers feel as comfortable as possible. Their 1,600-square-foot studio is equipped with powerful exhaust fans that evenly circulate air around the room, ensuring that no student has to deal with puffs of hot air blowing in their face or baking the raw cookie dough in their pockets.

Although the heat makes sessions challenging, the sweat it causes helps improve flexibility, eliminate toxins, and prevent injury as students flow through Bikram yoga's 26 postures. Students who struggle in the warm environment also don't need to worry if they can't bend and stretch through the entire 90-minute class. Instructors fully encourage newcomers to stop and relax on their mat for the duration of the class in order to acclimate their bodies to the heat and humidity, which should help it perform better next time.

More recently, the studio expanded its class schedule to include Inferno Hot Pilates and Warm Vinyasa classes.
